About this comp
R3,000 on the line for the heaviest carp over 5.1kg at the Arabie Schuinsraai Competition on 24 October 2026. Papgooi Society Angling Club is putting on a single-day carp comp with only 25 pegs available, so every swim counts. Pegs are drawn at 06:50 and lines go in at 08:00 until 16:30, with prizes for the top three heaviest bags as well. With just 25 spots up for grabs, get your entry in to Johan before this one fills up.
